Mags and I worked closely over the year on not only my personal development but that of my business. I have owned 2 cafes and now in the process of opening my third. 

I was not sure what to expect when I booked my 1st coaching session with Mags, however I went in with an open heart.

In my business’s I have always worked “in” the business and never “on” the business. I felt I needed to enhance my managerial skills and I didn’t have any policies or procedures in place. Everything within the business felt a bit adhoc. When hiring staff, they were pretty much given an apron and told to start tomorrow.

I had heard about vision values, purpose but didn’t know how to implement these things into my business. After only the first session Mags and I worked on this very thing. We figured what my values, my purpose and my vision. I could clearly see who of my staff did not share my vision nor my values. I then proceeded to work with these people to rectify the problems within the business.

At times things were fabulously and other times I made the decision to let some staff go, which I was coached by Mags to do effectively for both the employee, the team and myself. Firing staff was something I would feel really uncomfortable to do and would let problems with the staff slide. Not anymore.

Over the year I put policies and procedures in place, trained staff in all aspects of running the business in order to take time off away from the business. Ultimately my aim was to be able to sell the business and I was able to sell it to someone who didn’t want to work in the business but to have a passive income. I would have been unable to do that without the help of my coach, Mags.

I must admit that when Mags and I discussed her pricing structure I did ask myself could I justify the investment. 12 months on my investment had been well worth it. I recently took part in a Diamond Clarity Strategy Session with Mags Bell and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I went into the session seeking clarity and direction on a particular crossroads I had reached.

Mags was awesome, she laid out the format of the session at the beginning and then proceeded to take me through the session which involved asking me questions then Mags listening deeply to my answers then to unpack and unpick further to help me realise what to do next. My expectations prior to going into the session was to have an idea of a direction to move forwards in. However during the session Mags managed to give me a few aha moments of clarity and action which were pointed out to me as we went through the process. I wasn’t expecting aha moments, but they happened!

This session has provided me with so much value, although I am still to action a few items from the follow-up email Mags sent me, this session did unlock a mindset change to how I move forward and how I activate and manifest outcomes.
